Privacy policy

Updated: 1 November 2026.

Who is responsible for your data?

The controller is MASSASJE & KINESIOLOGI WIOLETA STRAUS, organisation number 921 580 045, Wioleta Straus’s sole proprietorship. Registered address: Øvre Rælingsveg 82A, 2005 Rælingen, Norway. Treatment address: Øvre Rælingsveg 82, 2005 Rælingen.

For privacy matters and requests about your data, contact Wioleta at strauswioleta@gmail.com or +47 465 69 245.

This notice covers the use of strausmassasje.no and ordinary correspondence with the studio. The website does not collect health data, keep treatment records or provide its own booking form.

What data do we use, and why?

When you write or call, we use the contact details, name and enquiry you provide to respond and arrange matters relating to your visit. Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without contact details. Do not send health information by ordinary email or SMS; agree a suitable way to share it directly with the studio.

Contact about purchasing a service or arranging an appointment is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one. Other enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.

The server records technical request data, including IP address, time, requested URL, response code and browser information. This supports delivery of the website, troubleshooting and protection against misuse under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not use it for advertising or profiling. We do not make automated decisions producing legal effects.

Providers and external links

The website uses Hostinger hosting, with the server located in France. Hostinger and Vekstverk, which maintains the website, have the technical access needed to operate and protect it, including access to server logs. The website does not send booking data to Vekstverk. Hosting terms are explained in the Hostinger data processing addendum.

Email sent to the published address is received in Gmail. Google’s processing is described in its privacy policy. Infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; their terms provide for appropriate transfer mechanisms, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Details and information about safeguards are available in the linked documents and through our contact address.

Bookings are made after following the link to Onlinebooq, provided by Onlinebooq ApS. The studio is responsible for its booking data; the provider processes it under the Onlinebooq terms and data processing agreement. This notice does not replace the information concerning data submitted in the booking system.

Google Maps, Instagram and Vekstverk are ordinary links. These services receive a request only when you visit them and apply their own privacy policies.

How long do we keep data?

We delete ordinary email and SMS enquiries no later than 12 months after the matter is closed. Information required in accounting records or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims is retained for the required period or until the relevant matter is resolved. This does not mean keeping all correspondence indefinitely.

We use technical data for as long as needed to operate the website and investigate incidents. The hosting dashboard provides traffic history for the last seven days; we do not create our own visitor traffic archive. Hostinger manages infrastructure log retention under its service terms. Data preserved for a specific incident is deleted when no longer needed to investigate it or handle legal claims.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Write to Wioleta using the address above. We normally respond within one month; if the law permits an extension, we will inform you and explain why. You may also complain to Datatilsynet.

Read about browser technologies on our Cookies page. We update this policy when the website or the way data is processed changes.
